@Sofia_5070tg If you really love your girlfriend but really love your kitten and need it then I would advise putting a strong odour like a lemon or an orange scent on it or near (trust me it works I tried it on a kitchen bench my cat has never once been on it again)

@Sofia_5070tg Buy your cat a serious scratching post. Buy a SMALL water pistol to gently discourage the kitty when they get the desire to scratch the furniture. Or far simpler: just get a new girlfriend.
