It is very sad and unfair. And I’m gonna sound harsh and apologetic. But when Israel chose to actually spend resources and money on demolishing this building in specific, it means that Hezbollah had some kind of infrastructure inside. You can’t expect from an "enemy state" to have mercy. You should expect from Hezbollah, who is supposedly Lebanese, to have mercy on their own people and not hide operatives, weapons or money within civilian areas. They should’ve learned in 2024 and yet they’re still doing it. Morale: If Hezbollah doesn’t care about its own people and is using them as human shields, why should Israel do? Keeping in mind that Israel in Lebanon (unlike in Gaza) is obviously trying to reduce human losses as much as possible. That’s why it issues warnings except when targeted assassinations are involved.
