I fucking despise the engagement farming around new shows/movies and how much it's tied to spreading negativity. Saying something sucks and misinterpreting it intentionally or misframing quotes/taking things out of context. All to get likes and twitter dollars or whatever.

If he thinks every other movie is 9/10 dialogue and that one is 7/10 that's "the weakest" but it's not the same as bad.

There's something special about those pulpy, shock driven ultra violent OVAs and series from the 80s-early 90s. The art always pops, combination of the dramatic lighting, high contrast and selective saturation. Don't see much like it these days.

Rewatching ozark. Pelphrey every year approaches stephen root levels of goat “hey it’s that guy” character actors. I hope he gets more stuff. Task was incredible.
