🔴Iranians are mass-withdrawing their cryptocurrency from exchanges into self-custody, a new report by the blockchain analysis firm Chainalysis has found. Hourly outflows from Iranian exchanges surge 873% higher than 2026 average, the report finds, with withdrawals increasing sharply after news of US/Israeli strikes broke on February 28th. Israel's previous attacks on Iran last year culminated in the targeting of the cryptocurrency exchange Nobitex, as well as in the disruption of major Iranian banks, shutting down ATMs across the country. The hackers, named Predatory Sparrow, who have widely been identified as potential Israeli state actors, deleted Nobitex internal databases, burning $90 Million "of the regime's favorite sanctions violation tool." At the time, many Nobitex users pointed out on social media that much of the funds belonged to Iranian citizens who turned to cryptocurrency to escape economic instability.

If you wish to get your money or precious metals out of an endangered jurisdiction, such as an EU country or North America, the window of opportunity is closing.
