@godspellLC @StreetFighter Yeah... Ed, Bison and Akuma are all menaces in neutral, but that's different... It's mostly Elena and Chun, maybe you can throw in characters like Cammy and Manon if your definition of footsies character is kinda lax

@StreetFighter Honestly, I'm not convinced by the design. Why change something that worked well? It was perfect, and it's great that it's back, but I suppose it's just the perfect excuse to sell us the original skin.

Guys, remember when Ken was an annoying character because of FB > DR and dragonlash was a neutral skip? And then they added AKI, Ed, Terry, Mai and Sagat? fun times

@AryaTayebi Tekken 7 was only a huge success because it had Akuma. That's the only reason, otherwise people didnt really care.

@FgcMem @LexxFGC If you normal parry a super and try to drive rush out of it for the punish, if you don't doi it in the first few buffer frames, the DR won't come out and you'll be stuck parrying. I think it happens with other attacks besides supers too, iirc

@freedseren43409 @BabaGhan0ush Longer combos are fine if it's 1-3 out of 30 characters that can do them and they require specific starters and resources. And longer combos can still be fast if the game is fast-paced. I think the worst offender is Tekken tbh. Almost every char has a combo that takes ages...

@PanqueNhoc @BabaGhan0ush The problem are the people who want their long combos AND no breaker so they can do that combo. I dont mind longer combos, but frequency needs tuning or you end up like MvC/2X/DBFZ and that's just not fun for 1 player despite being hype to some extent.

Am I the only one who really hates combo breaker mechanics in fighting games?

@BabaGhan0ush Combo Breaker > No Combo Breaker. Being stuck in a long ass combo is not fun and if longer combos are common then it's even less interesting.
