Kasay made a handful of long GW kicks in 2003. Also, 2003: Kris Jenkins blocking the PAT in Tampa to force OT is near the top. Gano’s bomb v NYG in 2018.
Hard to argue that blocking a punt while trailing by 3, inside of 5:00, in a home playoff game…is one of the more impactful ST plays for this franchise.
It’s rarely been louder at BOA than in that moment.

It was clutch. As for team history, Michael Bates and John Kasay had some pretty memorable moments, not counting Kasay's out of bounds kickoff in the 2003 season Super Bowl. So did Rod Smart and Graham Gano, and even Steve Smith before he became an elite receiver.

Panthers have signed WR John Metchie to a 1-yr deal, per source and as others have said. Metchie, Houston's second-round pick in 2022, hasn't done much in three NFL seasons. But he had a big year in 2021 at Alabama with Bryce Young during Young's Heisman season.

Roster decay is very real in Green Bay. You can debate the quality of the players lost, but... Rashan Gary Elgton Jenkins Quay Walker Malik Willis Nate Hobbs Kingsley Enagbare Romeo Doubs Rasheed Walker Colby Wooden 2026 team probably won't be as talented as the 2025 team.
