@Sioned_W @TrussellCymru @TrussellUK As an independent foodbank we have experienced a big uptake in our services but donations have reduced, both food and monetary. Many foodbanks are now struggling for survival.

When I met @TrussellCymru in the Senedd last week, they shared the sobering fact that my region of South Wales West had the highest number of emergency food parcels delivered by @TrussellUK food banks. We must see more action on eradicating poverty.

Tai Tarian partnered up with contractors, Robert Price to donate £250 to PANTRY foodbank for the Pontardawe Area . The donation was made under their Community Benefits initiative. Thank you to Tai Tarian staff members and to Robert Price for their generous donation.

Driving in Ystradgynlais today and discovered that @BronwenLewis_ has an Eisteddfod yr Urdd celebratory decoration on the roundabout. No image sadly as I was driving but well done whoever created it. Quite a good likeness.

@FavFoodbank It was also 10 years ago that a small group of people launched our foodbank. Since that day we have seen huge increases in demand for our services year on year. It is an anniversary that we have used to increase awareness of our services within the community.

We are pleased to show PANTRY Trustee @Sioned_W , presenting prizes to the winning entrants of PANTRY's 10th anniversary art competition. There were over 150 entries, and the standard was extremely high. Thank you and well done to all those that entered.

Well done to the fantastic artists who entered our 10th anniversary art competition. There were over 150 entries and the judges had a hard time selecting the pictures to go through to the next round. The 8 pictures that the panel selected can now be seen at Pontardawe Library.
