My oldest friendship in Seattle (~30 years) is a life long Public Defender. My previous relationship was with a lawyer. I’m not a lawyer, but I’ve talked very intimately with a lot of them for 50+ years. I used to say shout this at my father… One of the biggest things our country needs is a way to oversee prosecutors. Prosecutorial immunity is a license to lie and cheat. He agreed. Too much room for corruption. Same goes for judges. We need a revised system. One built by people who know how to design working systems. Like, engineers, maybe? How do I know our system is broken? By listening to people like you as you describe your J6 work. There should be no possibility of the things you talk about happening.
