@mikegolicjr I think any anime, not just One Piece, is bound to the fatal trap of Game of Thrones. It starts out very simple and you can have great set pieces, but soon, the source material requires an Endgame level of budget to “faithfully” adapt, and I just don’t ever see that happening.

I've never seen One Piece so this is NOT a commentary about the series. But do any anime fans actually want a live action version of the series they love?? Has never once seemed appealing to me.
