New fairly "niche" packaging trend that I find amusing:

Saw this video 2 weeks ago, just an hour after upload. Immediately knew that it was going to be a banger. This video ended up becoming the channel's most viewed video of all time :P

finally saw the early alpha footage for Varun Mayya's game; slightly late, but the only note I have is this: give me, as a player, some surreal wow moments where I have to put the controller down and just appreciate the game: story, scene, gameplay or anything else. easier said than done, but all iconic games do this. take the Arkham games for eg. every time you die, you're mocked by the villains so your resolve grows stronger; even a basic reload screen becomes a wow moment. RDR2, Tsushima, Uncharted: all these are just wow moments disguised as games. even the indie games, Raji game does it with art design, Expedition 33 too with visuals, even the side scrollers, Alto's Odyssey for eg with the music. Unleash The Avatar's standout feature will not be the mechanics, visuals or even the voice acting (they know they have to work on it), but rather the story; Essentially, how many times can you make the player put down the controller and yet not be able to wait to pick it up again.

New Fav niche YouTuber Its's a channel called "Predictive History". Where this Chinese professor "Prof Jiang", has this series where he is trying to explain to you "How the world works?" Interesting takes to say the least.
