@PaperLouise I actually find a good pair of astronomy binoculars is way better for casual moon and planet viewing. Easy to look at different objects and portable for hikes. Don’t have to find perfectly flat ground and spend a bunch of time angling it just right

Does anyone know much about telescopes/can recommend any? My daughter and I love looking at the moon/space and she wants a telescope so bad! I don’t know where to start ☹️
