Making Halloween decorations for our home. With help from Google Gemini and a laser cutter, I’ve made this within an hour and a half. It blows my mind that none of this existed 90 minutes ago. 🤯

It’s a lot of fun to make these weird over complex mechanisms. This one feels a bit like a paper machine. There’s no use for it except that I’ve enjoyed making this. And again, learned some new things!

As always, doing experiments is a lot of fun and super interesting! I’m just figuring out what’s possible to see where it brings me… With no specific goal in mind. For this transformation pop-up I’ve tried a variation on the push tab mechanism that I’ve also used for the Phoenix
