What’s better, pouring concrete before putting pole building up, or putting the building up then concrete?

One of my breeding groups Grazing some corn stalks with rye grass.

@StevenAErnewein There’s ryegrass under the corn stalks and also grazing off some third year hay beside that will be terminated in the spring.

@PappleOliver You’ve done this before with success? I usually considered grazing corn stalks a maintenance forage

Mint day to dry

The mixer screw was a bit thin but we added some plates and a 1/2 inch rod around the outer edge and it’s working well now.

Not sure the cost of running this mixer but definitely easier than forking out balage. Also making use of stalky hay that the ewes would sort through. Mix a dry stalky bale with a alfalfa balage bale
