@jaredsla The whole system needs to be fixed. I would rather lean on Vegas Odds makers for seeding. Oh, and let’s remember that ND beat Texas A&M, if it weren’t for that blatant missed call by the Ref.
Drake Maye and Matthew Stafford vs. common opponents this season (CAR, NO, TEN, TB, BAL, ATL):
Maye:
6-0 record
117/170 (69%)
1,495 passing yards
13 TD
3 INT
259 rushing yards, 1 TD
Stafford:
4-2 record
129/182 (71%)
1,544 yards
14 TD
6 INT
-10 rushing yards, 0 TD
@NicoleAuerbach spot on, Bama is clearly getting preferential treatment here. They were terrible last night. Not worthy. The committee has consistently had ND ahead of Miami as well, both don’t play and yet Miami jumps up? The Committee has zero credibility. Committee should use Vegas odds.
So, BYU was penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game (dropped one spot). Which allowed Miami to move up and get compared directly to Notre Dame.
But Alabama was not penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game.
@InterestingSTEM This was contemplated in the 1980’s and never materialized due to price. It would raise the price of a ticket so high that people would stop flying. Existing safety records also surpassed all other modes of transportation. Could make sense for today though.
Congrats to the Texas Rangers on their first #WorldSeries championship. Road warriors through the postseason. Bruce Bochy pulled all the right strings. Corey Seager is a badass. And I'm especially happy, like most Red Sox fans, for this guy.
We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of former New England Patriots tight end Russ Francis. Our condolences are extended to Francis’ family and friends.
Name one former Red Sox player you’d love to see come back and play one more season for Boston. Doesn’t have to be a great player, doesn’t even have to be someone who’s still playing. Just someone you’d enjoy watching. Also: it can’t be Ortiz.
I’ll start:
