@helpcomputer0 I’ve been pretty much pixelling non-stop for the past 7-8 years and I’ve found that I’m not even that bothered that I can’t seem to get back into it again. I can’t even decide if I’m enjoying doing pixels. Obvs there’s a lot more going on here the more I think about it.

It’s been 4 months since Melkhior’s Mansion was released and I still have absolutely no inclination to do any new artwork. Oh I’ve tried but end up binning it. Maybe do some ZX Spectrum stuff again, but there’s no inspiration at all. Maybe I just need to find the right project.

@bigevilboss Did you guys ever get anywhere with your psy-q saturn kits? I still have mine in an original Japan console, gifted to me by an ex employer but I never had any of the external pc cards, catridges or documentation. I certainly remember the brochure above from trade shows in the 90s

I already have the Psygnosis Saturn and another one of the cartridges to go with it, but the Saturn needs some kind of disc emulator card to work fully. Thankfully, this baby works in retail Saturns, too, so for now I can just burn discs for the assets.

I spoke with Stewart Gilray recently, he offered to do console conversions of Melkhior's Mansion. It's a freeware title, so he wasn't looking to profit, in his own words, he thought it deserved a wider audience. A lovely offer that isn't going to happen now. RIP @StewartGilray

@tenpencearcade Of course, I love Berzerk, because it was a carefully thought out, thoroughly play tested game, released at the height of Stern's heyday. As opposed to Frenzy, a last chance saloon, quick release, before they sank, shoddy sequel, that takes all the simplicity and shits on it.

It’s odd that Switch OLED defaults to ‘vivid’ colours and doesn’t mention on set-up that there’s another ‘normal’ setting squirrelled away that gives more natural colours. I had no idea until I saw someone tweet about it.
