Americans should understand that these tariffs are increasingly being viewed in Canada, by basically everyone, including the growing Canadian nationalist movement, as a form of arbitrary economic warfare. One thing they have accomplished is exposing the sheer number of disloyal, rootless and desperate people who have occupied the Canadian right for years. This is especially true of the populists who advocate for breaking up the country, turning individual provinces into American states, or annexing Canada outright. These people would trade away their sovereignty for ten years of cheaper gas and groceries at Costco. They would take out a reverse mortgage to finance a third property, only to discover that their new country is beginning to resemble the old one while collapsing under the weight of its own immense social and economic problems. The tariffs have also unified Canadians and rallied many of them around the cause of sovereignty. What sovereignty means varies widely among Canadians. Canadian nationalists hate the left. For decades, the left has worn the skin of nationalism while hollowing the country out and reducing it to a postnational economic zone on stolen land called Turtle Island. That project made Canada weaker and more vulnerable to American influence and pressure. At the same time, we have no intention of ignoring how the United States government treated Canada throughout the twentieth century. Beneath the political order built under Lester Pearson, whose government was supported by the Kennedy administration, and later transformed by Pierre Trudeau, there remains the solid foundation of a real people and a real nation. Those people still exist. Canadian nationalists will not tolerate being pushed into a materially worse arrangement where we inherit American problems. We do not want American demographics, American crime, American foreign policy or American Zionism imported into Canada. When I last visited British Columbia during COVID, smoke from California wildfires had blanketed the province. Canadians were forced to breathe dangerously polluted air from fires that many believed had been badly managed. The whole place looked apocalyptic. We also have not forgotten the East Palestine train crash, which released hazardous chemicals and produced airborne pollution that reached parts of Ontario and Quebec. Cross border environmental consequences are real, and Canada is often left dealing with the fallout from failures originating in the United States. Those failures did not lead Canada to slap random tariffs on the United States while Americans were already struggling through a technical recession and stagflation. We are also not going to forget how often the American right has thrown Canada under the bus. That includes the hundreds of prominent posters, activists and influencers on this app and cross border intellectuals who have circulated through nationalist spaces over the last quarter century. We know exactly who they are and how they operate. When serious and intelligent Canadian nationalists finally take control of the country, we will resist the United States government, its influence and every attempt to interfere with Canadian sovereignty to the maximum extent possible.

The Canadian 'tariff me harder Donny' crowd is about to have a wild Friday night over this silliness.

For the record: America does not blame the Canadian people for the smoke consuming our air. We blame government for not properly handling these fires year after year. 🇺🇲

Why are all Canadians like this?
Upper Canadian Cavalier@UCCavalier

American politicians are laying the groundwork today for a casus belli against Canada. It's not about if but when. Maybe not in our lifetimes. But watch how they talk about us. Watch the arrogance, the contempt, the casual appetite for other people's property. These are the heirs of the men who murdered our ancestors in the Revolutionary War and burned our towns in 1812 and laughed about it. They would laugh again if given the opportunity. Understand what the Yankee is. He is not a neighbour. He is a parasitic demon dressed up in the moralization cloth of Liberty. His revolution was not a cry for liberty. It was a tax revolt dressed in moralistic sophistry, it was a landgrab sanctified by pamphleteers. Everything since has been an acquisition from Mexico, Hawaii, the Philippines, over a hundred client states around the world. Canada is simply the last property on the block he has not yet been able to fully seize. We are not like him, and this is our glory. Canada was founded by those who refused the evil revolution. The Loyalists gave up everything, farms, fortunes, futures, rather than kneel to the tyranny of oligarchy disguised as Liberty. They chose allegiance over appetite. And they inherited what the republic never can which is the ancien régime of France on the St. Lawrence and the British Empire in North America. Two crowns descended from the greatest two civilizations that ever existed. The Yankee dreams of a pedigree like ours. He has a receipt from 1776. So what must we do? Build the state that survives him. We must be fully self-sufficient. Fully armed and industrialized. Prussian in discipline, Loyalist in soul. A nation bound not by convenience but by oath, every loyalist citizen sworn to Crown and country against the republic, as our founders swore before us. That is the membership test. That is the ethnogenesis, loyalty to our ancestors, proven under pressure, generation after generation. A nation like that can be invaded. It cannot be destroyed. It goes underground, endures the occupation, and re-emerges on the other side, as it did after 1783, as it did after 1814. The alternative is subjugation and erasure. With Canada being lost forever. We must launch Remigration along with Deyankification to prepare for the eventual moment when they do invade well installing a nationalist regime to purge the country of all foreign influence. Hail Hengist Hail Merovech Hail Canada And death to the Yankee Imperium

The fact that Canadians attack and insult Americans or try to change the subject instead of a simple “Yeah, it sucks. Our government should have done more to prevent this.” when an American mentions their kid being sick because of the smoke is so pathetic and disgusting.

Wow, Canadians are just nasty mean today. Just check their responses to posts about the fires and getting smoked out in Michigan. They don't get it, which is not surprising considering they voted for Carney.

Canadians WANT to be good friends and neighbors to Americans, but it's fucking impossible when Americans are calling us worthless, claiming we only exist because they allow it, and CALLING FOR WAR AND THREATENING OUR SOVEREIGNTY over a natural disaster.

Why are Canadians mad at Americans for being annoyed that the air quality in our cities is on par with some of the worst levels of air quality on Earth seems like a totally reasonable thing to be ticked off at

@scrothers89 @xab1ball It is not what WE wanted or voted for, it's what millions of jeets voted for. And in 2015, it's what a bunch of liberal faggots in Ontario and Quebec voted for. That's like saying everyone in the USA voted for Biden in 2020. Surely you understand when it's framed like that?

@scrothers89 @xab1ball Go ahead and blame the shitty ass Liberal government that imported their votes from the third world. I will 100% give you that. But you cannot in good faith take it out on the Canadian people who have no control over any of that. But Americans don't deal in good faith. Fuck you.
