Say whatever you want about Parallel TCG, but you can't deny that they have the best pack openings. Holy shit! Both times I zoned out and thought I was watching a movie thinking, "How did I get here?" Surprised I haven't seen more people talking about it It would be nice to see the card text by hovering over it, and the reveal was a bit of a let down because the lead up was so epic. IDK what I expected, but something flashier, maybe it is reserved for rare cards or whatever.

@ParallelTCG Draft is pretty fun, and as we hopefully get some newer entrants through steam and mobile releases the best thing you can do for new players is fill up that que as they go there to build their collections and get used to the game. Might do a more in-depth guide at some point as meta is hammered out but for quick tips I'd point to two things: 1) Curve - extremely important in this slowed down version of Parallel where decks won't always have consistent comeback mechanics. If you're 2/3s of the way through your draft and have zero 1-drops and one 2-drop these curve fillers should often be picked over the 'stronger' cards. 2) The old MTG draft acronym B.R.E.A.D, won't translate perfectly and could fit more or less once this draft meta is figured out some but always a great guideline to think about draft pick priority: Bombs - Generally power level is grouped together in // Draft so this is more about choosing which Bomb to take over another but the point is outrageous powerlevel trumps all. Removal - Maybe better classified as interaction but idea is you don't want to be at the whim of your opponent's strongest cards and even slow/versatile cards like Annihilate are solid plays in this format to answer your opponents Nehemiah, Cathy, Bomb Relic, etc.. Evasion - (This is hard to block creatures in MTG) Aggro/Ability - Grouping these two together because I'm not sure how well it translates to Parallel combat. Let's further group it with Curve from above and just say what you're looking for is: Efficiency - Evaluate cards by how much you're getting for the energy costs, how well it fits your current expected gameplan (have a couple pacify cards so maybe we're expecting to go Gaffar and can prioritize pacify synergy over the better statted vanilla unit, etc..) Duds - Again in // picks are roughly sorted together by strength but still picking the least weak dud can be make or break in any given game. Maybe you have some possibly synergy from your other picks for an otherwise unplayable card. At the end of the day you can always bank duds in Parallel so just resort to the most potentially playable. Looking forward to seeing how this draft meta evolves, how reliable going for certain strats or even combos is, which paragons or color combos are best, etc.. I view draft as the great equalizer in TCGs, there is still a huge amount of skill involved but it evens the playing field a lot compared to getting smashed by the same meta lists on ranked ladder so hope to see this que starting to fill up consistently. Get Drafting!
