Vedic Yajna Evidence (c. 2000 yrs ago)🔥 ASI excavations at Sanghol (Punjab) found Kushan-era yajna altars (Gārhapatyāgni, Dakṣiṇāgni). Burnt rice, barley, lentils, plus amla, nutmeg, and ritual woods (peepal, palash, sandalwood) were discovered—matching Vedic yajna practices.

The Chinese traveler Yuan Chwang (Xuanzang) who visited India was familiar with the Ramayana. He translated Vasubandhu's Mahavibhasha into Chinese. In the 46th volume of this translation, he mentions the Ramayana and writes that Buddha's teachings cover a wide range of topics, unlike the Ramayana, which has 16,000 verses covering only two themes: Ravana abducted Sita, and Rama brought her back.
