The fog of war does not happen naturally just like that, its not a weather condition. It is created intentionally by people in establishment media like @shashj who's official responsibility as journalist includes clearing such fog, but in reality work as it's creators instead.

People use "fog of war" as a catch all term to excuse their disinformation during wartime reporting as if it is some kind of a naturally occurring phenomena. When the truth is that they were the ones who created that fog in first place.

“why is Tucker the only one saying the obvious?” he isn’t by a long shot. plenty of people saying the obvious without his odious Western supremacism attached, but the Respectable Center only want to platform their left-punching comrades on the right so here we are

@Parapolity I was digging into the fact that Israel ke 1st PM ke bedroom mein khali ek photo thi,Gandhi ki. Then I dwelled deep into the hellhole of Indian Socialists frequently visiting and advocating for Israel; George, Lohia, Jayprakash etc. I think, inka chutiya kaatne ko hi rakhta hoga.

Oh come on, there are loads- Achin Vanaik, Pankaj Mishra, Nandini Sundar, Seema Mustafa, Rana Ayyub, Anand Patwardhan, Upendra Baxi, Prashant Bhsuhan, Kampala Kannibran, Zoya Hasan, Gautam Navlakha, Pamela Phillipose, Alok Rai. Many of these called for a boycott of Israel also.

Exceptions like Arundhati Roy aside, can we name any Indian scholar/journalist/columnist who criticised Israel? Amitav Ghosh refused to distance himself from Israel. Romila Thapar was an ardent friend Khushwant Singh kind of prostrated before it. Naipaul refused to criticise it.

You can find more dissident voices who reject communalism in Gujarat/North Indian states than in Assam, the state which most resembles a fascist society. Even their 'liberal' voices launder the framework of ethnic chauvinism behind “our unique history or politics”. Its 2026, stop
Mad Milton@PhilipPanass

Yes, Evita, your boss chose to join BJP, whose incumbent CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has laid out elaborate plans to purge all Muslims from the state, because "politically uninformed North Indians [in INC]" were running a "complicated state like Assam." 🤡

The Censor Board has long used the “friendly relations with other countries” clause to ban films it doesn’t like. The Voice of Hind Rajab is the latest example. See, eg, the ban on the award-winning Sri Lankan film No Fire Zone (2014). Free speech has never existed here. 👇🏼
