A 🆕 @truthinitiative report shows how the tobacco industry continues to target kids with flavored, nicotine-loaded products – including illegal “smart” vapes, nicotine pouches and disposable e-cigarettes. Hard-won progress is at risk. Nearly 1/3 of youth who use e-cigarettes use “smart” vapes with screens, games, or Bluetooth connectivity. Nicotine pouch use among high school seniors has more than tripled since 2023. And the total amount of nicotine sold in e-cigarettes jumped 249% from 2020 to 2024.
