@ParforeTom @ThisIsNotZain We should absolutely be using void years to manipulate the cap on any extension given but we should be doing what we have to do to keep a great player who’s in his prime. I’m just saying Unless we’re getting multiple firsts I don’t see how we’re better off without him

@ParforeTom @ThisIsNotZain if you really believe it’s a fall off and not a symptom of a dysfunctional franchise then I get it but I don’t. the whole point of having a qb on a rookie deal is that you have money to retain and sign great players. We have $100m+ cap space next year and $200m+ in 28. Pay him

@NastyN04h @ThisIsNotZain That is a gross exaggeration, I wouldn’t trade him for much less .. he is going to be 29… he has played 6 years , in a position where careers range 5-8 years ..and he is off a down year .. was it a one year blip or the beginning of things to come ..

ESPN sources: Giants All-Pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade and he will not be participating in the team’s off-season workout program that opens Tuesday.
