I started watching MLP almost 11 years ago. It's the last thing I wanted to do before seeing myself out. Instead, I cried during Winter Wrap-Up, and by the end of the episode, felt determined to keep living. Twilight Sparkle saved my life. And that's why she's my Guardian Angel.

Young people are not angry because they can't afford Chipotle and Arby's. They are angry because, by any metric, in any category, they have lower expectations than their parents have. Working a full-time job like your dad did means settling for less than he had, it's as simple as that. Ironically, entertainment and so-called "luxury goods" like TVs, computers, etc are just about the only things that have actually gotten more affordable. But everything that matters such as energy prices, home prices, rent, healthcare, tuition, insurance—none of which is optional, by the way—has become more and more unaffordable. The entire Doordash/fast food thing is a complete red herring meant to distract from this. It's extremely obvious why a billionarie like Kevin O'Leary would want everyone talking about that instead of the hard reality that young people cannot afford basic things their parents easily afforded. Not trying to be a jerk when I say this, but you have fallen for the red herring really badly,. The only reason anyone is even talking about Doordash is because it's how the discussion was framed in the first place.
