The best thing about 3-year-old's is the way they do what they can with the words that they know. My daughter doesn't know the word "cough drop" so she is requesting medicine beans.

As a society we would all be better off if we changed our mindset from the Western ways of “I have rights” and moved towards how many Indigenous cultures view it as “I have obligations.” /1
i do think we’re in a special kind of hell when you say something like “kids should be safe in country” or “kids should be able to go to school and come back home alive” and it turns into a debate

On the first day of my senior year of high school, a new boy showed up in my AP English class.

People will act like ableism isn’t their problem as though we’re not STILL living in a pandemic that started with people being told that “only disabled and elderly people will die” and them taking that as permission to proceed with life as usual.
