@IlliniCBK @brianneubert LOL, if Boswell could guard Braden they would have put him on Braden in previous match ups. Purdue v. Arizona December 2023: Braden scores 26 and 2 assists Purdue v. Illinois March 2025: Braden Scores 18 and 12 assists Avg: 22 ppg and 7 assists against Boswell teams.

@brauf33 No adjustments defensively. Benter was far more effective in pick and roll.

I have some questions for Purdue after that loss. UCLA wasn’t hiding that it wanted to run a Dent-Bilodeau pick-and-pop every time down the court late in this one, yet Purdue’s coverage continued to allow it to work. Gotta switch it up Also, why is CJ Cox taking the last shot?

The way Iowa State guarded Purdue’s ball screen action was fascinating. A built in drop man to stop the pocket pass and a show man to deter the pull up. Basically zoning off and playing 3 on 2 anytime Purdue went into a ball screen forcing someone else to beat them. Wild.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will not be in the College Football Playoff. Notre Dame had the 4th best odds to win the National Title one hour ago.

Notre Dame was ranked No. 9 and Alabama was ranked No. 10 in Week 14. Notre Dame won at (4-8) Stanford 49-20, Alabama won at (5-7) Auburn 27-20. Alabama JUMPS Notre Dame, swapping spots at 9 and 10. Fast forward to this week, Alabama gets SMASHED by UGA, and ND doesn’t play. Alabama stays at No. 9 and Notre Dame falls another spot to No. 11, despite the four teams behind them losing/not playing. I don’t care if you think Notre Dame should’ve missed the playoff all along, but the committee just contradicted everything they stood for the past month. Disgraceful decision making.
