What I like about Randy Orton turning heel is it finally gives Cody Rhodes a real threat. During Cody’s first two title runs, outside of Drew McIntyre and Cena, there wasn’t a top heel where you truly believed he could lose. That’s why Cody vs Roman Reigns worked so well. You didn’t know who was walking out with the title. Same thing when John Cena turned heel. WWE has been thin on true main event heels, so turning Orton was the right move. It brings back that old school feel. Dominant heel vs top babyface, with a real story and actual doubt. For the first time in a while, it feels like Cody could lose, and that’s what has been missing in his title reigns. This Orton and Cody story might end up being one of the best builds heading into WrestleMania.
