Project Update: #PARQNFT
After careful reflection, we’ve decided to delay the PARQ NFT launch. While we are committed to bringing hotels on-chain, our schedule and strategy have shifted. We want this to be the best possible experience for our community, and we still have some kinks to iron out in the ownership and membership structure. Rather than keep you waiting and pushing dates, we thought it would be best to put the NFT sale on hold until further notice.

I miss @eyqshen more than I can describe. He was one of the primary reasons I joined @plumenetwork when the team was tiny. He helped everyone around him. He cared about what we build, and cared about our people.
With his untimely passing, the job we started is unfinished. We finish it for him.

We've been so touched and incredibly grateful to see the outpouring of support for Eugene. It has really helped us remember what we set out to build at Plume -- not just a chain, but an ecosystem and a community. I couldn't be more thankful and the heartfelt words & support from everyone at this time have meant everything to us. While we hadn't announced the exact timing of our mainnet, we had been working with our partners and projects to release it this past week. And because of the circumstances, we paused on everything to mourn & pay our respects to our friend. But we know that Eugene loved this product, this ecosystem, and this community more than anything. And so we are continuing on in the best way that we know how and to continue the mission that the 3 of us started at Plume. So although we are grieving, we will continue what we started. We are incredibly grateful & thankful to the community for supporting us during this time. Much love to the goon fam. Mainnet next week.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of a tragic loss within our company. Earlier this week, we lost our cofounder and dear friend, Eugene. We’re in shock. Eugene was brilliant, deeply curious, and brought so much talent and heart to everything he did. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
The Plume team is grieving and supporting one another right now. We are focused on taking care of ourselves and each other over the next few days. This community was incredibly important to Eugene, and he poured his heart and soul into Plume, our team, and the community. We will deeply miss him and remain committed to ensuring the Plume technology he helped build continues to spur innovation and facilitate life onchain.
