Latics made it on to the bill of the BBC 6 Music Festival, at last night’s opening event, draped on to the drum kit of @ttssfu #wafc

Finally made an overdue visit to Silver Street, Irlam, where Irlam FC hosted South Liverpool in the NW Counties Premier. Looked impressive under the floodlights and a great, friendly set-up. @IrlamFC @SouthLplFC @nwcfl

Coventry was lucky to have my grandad but I was luckier to know him. Nobody has supported me more in my life. A champion of Radford and loved his year representing the city across the world as Lord Mayor. From having his house blitzed to becoming Alderman is quite the life.

@KaneBrides Absurd! Which part of the country is that? It has got worse on Chat Moss in recent years. Prob not as bad as this footage, but hundreds, released and swarming over the Manchester Mosses SAC and associated SSSIs, possibly contributing to decreases in winter finch/bunting flocks
