@TheRunningManZ @TwitchUKI @djclancy999 True. On a platform that pushes subscription as the primary source of income for it's creators, they should not be openly advertising a work around. Unless turbo subscriptions pay more, which I've yet to see.

Yes. But that is to replace ad revenue which seems to work fairly well. However a gifted turbo is likely given instead of a gifted sub (or maybe even 2/3 gifted subs given what the Turbo costs). The person watching without Turbo is more likely to be seeing ads already, so you stand still as a streamer, while twitch get the Turbo extra revenue. This has the potential to see your viewers gifting Turbo instead of subs and that massively benefits the platform and the streamer stands still entirely.

This is a terrible feature at @TwitchUKI @djclancy999 what the hell is next? Just a "Tip Twitch" button on everyone's stream so our viewers can just tip you directly? Or an "Amazon needs your money more than the streamer that kept you here" button? Had it for the first time today, chatter came in, said something cool, someone else gifted them Turbo. My chat facilated that. You're cutting the streamer out of this and makings ways for you to take all the revenue. Do you want people to start streaming on the rival platforms or what? What a joke. My issue with this is the principle of it, I don't care about my own revenue, it's BS for the WHOLE OF TWITCH AND ALL ITS STREAMERS. What a joke!
