@Ria1984 The nature of the curriculum makes it next to impossible for even a good natured teacher to be a net positive to a ordinary child. The problem isnt whether a teacher is nice the problem is the endless moralising and stiffling of childrens egos in the name of behaviour.

These teachers are incapable of even entertaining the idea that they are egomanaical leeches in the lives of kids. They cannot comprehend the fact that if given a choice the kids they teach would shred them into chunks and play in their blood.

@Ria1984 I've always avoided this sort of "fun" because I feel it undermines respect (more so now due to social media). Respect as a teacher is hard-earned. I also despise visitors who rely on the "pick on the teachers" ploy. It's the cheapest trick in the book, requiring no skill.

The number of dorkass teachers whining about the existence of “dunk a teacher” type incentives or charity events in response to this post is wild. First of all, nobody is forcing you to participate. Second of all, as a group, it seems teachers have surpassed doctors in the “take themselves too seriously” category.
