The backlash to this post really shows how people don’t understand why we transition. Yeah I was super hot pretransition but I was miserable and wanted to die even though my life was objectively great. I’m actually happy now and I love my life! Even with hundreds of strangers saying all manner of unkind things about me this was worth it.

@cybelethebest True story. My grandma died last year. I went into a doc appointment for my mom with her and she ask me how my grandma is doing. I told her she died and she said, "AT 79? WHY SO YOUNG?! I'm sorry for ya loss! I see 92 year old people in my office every single day, I'm 77 myself!"
