Sorry Andy but can’t agree with you here. You don’t become a Grand Slam winner and a test Lion unless you have something about you. Might not be playing his best at the moment for Wales - but ‘hopeless lummox’ is extremely harsh imho.

@LeftieNeil @LWaunfawr At risk of being argumentative, I think you’re wrong with the IRE model as well. What we can’t do is follow the SCO model - their 2 Pro teams are not leading to success at an International level.

@LWaunfawr I’m just meh about selection Let alone the game… What’s fascinating is the model the WRU pursuing is NZ/IRE/SCO All in decline IRE & especially SCO have dark days ahead… very dark for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 And all this chaos is to replicate that… 🤷🏽‍♂️

A very worthwhile read. Sadness is my overriding emotion when I stop to think about the game I love. I can only hope brighter days are yet to come.

@stephenjones9 Yeah...what Welsh rugby needs is zero representation from the valleys. Thats got us far the last 25 years. Jeez.

And here’s a great plan for Welsh pro rugby. Four teams, playing in Cardiff, Llanelli, Newport, Swansea. To hell with the myopic, pathetic plans made by outsiders at WRU. All four teams are improving. Emerging youngsters need teams local to them to aspire to.

@matthewevansnpt It’s not scaremongering! I’m not convinced we need more Senedd members. I’d also question the No. of politicians we have at local level. The doctor/nurses debate is interesting/complex. Isn’t it an accepted fact that Brexit impacted the No. of trained medical staff in the UK.

@Pasc76 Scaremongering Chris we didn't when we ran the NHS in England did we ? Sadly better outcomes in England. Meanwhile in Wales Labour are more interested in having more politicians rather than doctors and nurses.

After 27 years of Labour running the NHS in Wales, had to go to 2 different hospitals to take the same tests 4 days apart. Because the systems still don't talk to each other, the staff are wonderful but it wastes their time and mine.

@LWaunfawr @JNPhillips4 Last few games I’ve noticed that - it’s great!! A mate has bought tickets for all the remaining home games, and up until 3/4 weeks ago he’d only been to 2 games in 4 years! Love to see the crowd growing 😍

For the first time in a while, I’m enjoying going to Rodney Parade again. The fans have been terrific especially on the terrace. Proper, loyal supporters. If people can see you’re building something and heading in the right direction, they’ll turn up to watch you. Winning helps.

@LWaunfawr @JNPhillips4 Funnily enough, I was 30ish minutes early and was pleasantly surprised at the numbers already in the stand! Might have to get a name plate for my favourite spot though! 😂

@JNPhillips4 I was thinking the same last night. I turned up early (as normal) and there were punters already in our favourite spot. By kick off we were completely surrounded. All of them supporting the Dragons.

@JackoRugby He’s still up there with the best when he plays. But these injuries are taking its toll and maybe it’s his body saying that’s enough 🤷‍♂️

There was a time when Taulupe Faletau, for so long Europe's supreme No. 8, never missed a match. He has missed 18 of Wales' 23 matches since the 2023 World Cup and will now miss the next 3: England, France, Scotland. Old warriors of 35 never quit, they just keep coming back.
