Today all I did was condemn violence and ask people questions because I wanted to understand them. I am never coming from a place of hostility, I truly just want to understand where people are coming from. I’m not well versed in politics, but I do know that violence is never the answer and will only do harm to your cause. But because I asked questions, I was called a Hitler sympathizer, was accused of supporting the genocide, and that I rejoice at the death of trans people. I truly can’t make sense of it. I don’t stand for any of those things. All I’ve ever done is try to spread love and positivity. I like to question things. Asking questions allows us to understand. Questioning things helps us find the truth. I can’t just hear someone say something and just go with it. I need to uncover the truth so I can form my own opinions. I didn’t think that made me a bad person. With that being said, I will not be publicly commenting on anything even remotely political on my platform anymore. It’s really not worth the backlash when I’m genuinely trying to have a conversation. But I will make the following clear since a lot of you are assuming my beliefs: -free Palestine -black & trans lives matter -women should have the right to choose -we need gun reform -violence is never the answer I’m not a political person, so I’m sorry if this isn’t the perfect post. I am just very blind sighted by how hateful people have been 💔
