@rubabbx @DennisCromptom @alon_mizrahi are you hiding behind life expectancy? If a 9 yo has a terminal cancer with 3 years left, is it ok to marry her off to a 50 yo? What is this nonsense? If a meteor is about to hit the planet killing all the humanity, should we throw away human decency?

@rubabbx @Jaybles1015 @alon_mizrahi It is simple. Muhammad wanted to sleep with as many women as possible. I don't blame him. You justify inconvenient facts with "norms", ignoring that he is supposed to be an "Oswah". If Islam a religion for all times and places, we can judge his actions with today's standards.

@Jaybles1015 @Pat6788Matt @alon_mizrahi Is that because of Islam? Or because of cultural norms? If Muhammad married a years old Aisha, he also married a 40 years old Khadija when he was only 24. How is it his fault on how someone interpreted his actions 1400 years ago?

@rubabbx @alon_mizrahi Muhammad changed the calendar. Drinking alcohol, idolatry were norms that Islam abolished. Prohibition of marrying a stepson's wife was a norm that Muhammad ignored when he married Zaynab bint Khuzayma. If you are "Obsessed with "why?"", ask yourself, why? Give me a break.

Islam also encourages us to evolve with time and stay relevant for the current needs of the society. Child marriages were a norm in entire world 14 centuries ago. Not anymore. Times have changed. 1400 years ago Muslims were fighting with sowrds and riding horses. If we are to follow the trends lf those times, we would vanish. Evolution is important.

@rubabbx @alon_mizrahi 50 yo Muhammad marrying a 9 yo Aisha was a norm?🤣 Defend that and slavery (which was allowed in Islam and practiced by muslims) with "norms". Tell me, is in today's Islam a man marrying a 9 yo girl haram? (I know the answer 🙃)

@rubabbx @alon_mizrahi Isn't the claim that Islam is for all the times and places? Also, there are plenty of examples in the current era in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and othy places. Just read a Tozih al-Masael

Unlike your privileged, spoiled ass, I actually lived in Iran under the Islamic Republic. My everyday life was shaped by the Supreme Leader and the brutal regime he runs. You will never understand the feeling of seeing the man who helped destroy your life finally gone. You only read about it. I lived it. So sit this one out, kid. You have no idea what it means to live under people who rule your country while treating your life as disposable. You have never experienced oppression, you little brat. You just love to cosplay it.. And that is our difference.

@FurkanGozukara You are wearing a suit and tie (European clothes) in your photo. Are you trying to be white? None of the women in your background pic have their head covered. Are they trying to be white? Maybe the reason some Iranians despise Islam is the Islamic regime of the past 47 years.

Brutal exposure of the Iranian diaspora: They support Zionism and the Gaza genocide because they desperately want to be seen as "white" and Western. They want to erase their Arab and Muslim ties to fit in.

@muldoons_ @realnikohouse Thank you for the Wikipedia BS. Like I said, I live in Iran, studied this event and know more than Wikipedia. I especially love the "confirmed" part. I just wanna know how is it a coup when Shah exercised his legal right to sack a PM even if helped by foreigners?

@realnikohouse You can't read and comprehend. I didn't say he was a monarch. I said it was a monarchy. Mosadegh was a PM. You claimed he was a president, a position that didn't exist at the time, under monarchy. FYI, I live in Iran and know the history of my country better than Wikipedia.🤣🤣

Poor Yassamin still doesn’t understand why people are cheering this attack. For many of them, this feels like the only chance to free their country so they don’t have to abandon their homes and live the rest of their lives in exile. Poor you, Yassamin. The only thing you seem to carry from being Iranian is your DNA and a name.

👇 Congressman Khanna, I am writing to you as an Iranian-American constituent in Silicon Valley regarding your recent position on invoking the War Powers Resolution in relation to potential U.S. military action involving the Islamic Republic regime. I want to be very clear that this issue is not about Iran as a nation or its people. It is about the Islamic Republic regime a governing structure that the United States itself has formally identified as a sponsor of terrorism and a direct adversary to American national security interests. This regime has supported armed groups hostile to the United States, contributed to regional instability, and aligned itself with geopolitical competitors of the United States in ways that directly undermine American strategic objectives. Your current position appears focused on restricting the Executive Branch’s ability to respond decisively to this regime. While congressional oversight is an important constitutional responsibility, it is equally critical that U.S. policy recognize the strategic distinction between the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic regime that governs them without their consent. Millions of Iranians have demonstrated their opposition to this regime over many years, often at extraordinary personal risk. They are not asking the United States to act on their behalf, but their resistance has created a rare moment in which American national security interests and the aspirations of the Iranian people are aligned. From a purely strategic standpoint, the continued existence of the Islamic Republic regime strengthens America’s adversaries, sustains instability in a region critical to global energy and security, and forces the United States to maintain costly long-term deterrence and military readiness. A different future one not controlled by this regime would significantly reduce these pressures, improve regional stability, and create conditions more favorable to American security, economic, and geopolitical interests. As your constituent, I want you to understand that many Iranian-Americans in your district view the Islamic Republic regime as both an enemy of the Iranian people and a direct threat to the United States. We believe U.S. policy should be guided by clear-eyed strategic assessment of American interests, not by assumptions that inadvertently preserve the position of a hostile regime. Iranian-American voters in Silicon Valley are paying close attention to how elected officials approach this issue. We expect leadership that recognizes the difference between the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic regime, and that evaluates policy decisions through the lens of American national security, strategic stability, and long-term U.S. interests. Respectfully,
