It's all a bit raw as I sit here in Thurles, but this is a big part of it. Leinster has for too long accepted the role as the province that will open its doors to everyone, while Munster is always sacrosanct, exclusive to the five, looking after their own and no-one else.

Lopsided provincial championships lead to one-sided games such as this. The Munster teams from underage to senior level are all pushing each other massively year after year, and it’s effectively meant they’ve pulled the ladder up after themselves. Not the fault of the Munster teams, but the Leinster counties should be screaming about change. This is not good for the game.
