It is kinda why I like Bricky, especially with his starting army video, he tells you “hey, even if I love this army, it is super expensive to get into, so I would recommend doing something else” and on his second channel he does talk a lot about-

@PatPostsAgain @KitbashStudio39 the ability for someone to be honest on, for example, lore changes, price changes that might harm the consumer, etc.
Luetin, again, doesn't feel like he has those limitations.

Got a lot of good recommendations for warhammer videos on YouTube, but no one suggested Bricky or wesHammer respective channels? It's interesting that if you search Warhammer over on YouTube those two are the first to come up.

@StudioONE78852 @KitbashStudio39 That is really a matter of preference, I also prefer Luetin ( even if I havent watched him in a while, right now its PoorHammer funnily enough ) but when I first started, Weshammer was a genuinely really good starting point.

@PatPostsAgain @KitbashStudio39 As for Weshammer, I guess I get that, but something about him feels corporatized and sanitized. I tend to stick to Luetin for my lore, Luetin is capable of being critical to Games Workshop in areas where it matters IMO and I don't think Weshammer is.

@StudioONE78852 @KitbashStudio39 I absolutely agree. But then again, it isn’t the creators fault that parents aren’t supervising their kids, even if I do agree that steroids are not something you should sell ( I do not condone them at all )

@PatPostsAgain @KitbashStudio39 Of course, you CAN do it, and you cannot be held accountable for kids spending on mommy's credit card to drug themselves up or whatever, but that doesn't make it right.

@StudioONE78852 @KitbashStudio39 I actually looked at his response to Pontius, and less than 4% of his audience is under 18. So he can like, sell that type of stuff, even when he did a sponsorship from a sex toy company 😂

@PatPostsAgain @KitbashStudio39 Yeah, I looked it up, but Majorkill was genuinely promoting his own SARM (Which is a steroid) by telling his audience it'll allow them to feel great and strong and look like Space Marines.
Being honest, it's just a bit scummy to me knowing some of your audience is young folks.

@StudioONE78852 @KitbashStudio39 The only one that I can comfortably say he was wrong on was Space Marine 2 when the daemons show up and the Ultramarine chapter master is not affected. For some reason Bricky just forgot about the fact that is something HE CAN DO.

@PatPostsAgain @KitbashStudio39 True, but again, Bricky also reviews Warhammer products, and if he considers them lore inacurate, will call them out on the lore inaccuracies, even if he himself is inaccurate in his own callout, and that actually does deserve a degree of scrutiny.

@StudioONE78852 @KitbashStudio39 I dont know about anything MajorKill being related to drugs, but lets be honest, shady sponsors happen all the time ( cough cough Honey ). And Weshammer is supposed to be a more fast-paced way to get into the universe, not going super in-depth.

@StudioONE78852 @KitbashStudio39 And Adeptus Ridiculous is again, only supposed to be a way to introduce people to the universe. Even then, Bricky admits in his Legions Explained video that not everything he says is gonna be accurate, it is mostly as a way to give the general impression of the chapters

@StudioONE78852 @KitbashStudio39 Luetin is an exception, but even then he was so up and mighty about it, that it rubbed me the wrong way. And I think that people forget, Bricky isn’t supposed to be accurate, he is supposed to get you into the lore. He is what got me into the universe.

@StudioONE78852 @KitbashStudio39 for their own profit,when those people have been consuming and loving the universe and game for years and years before that snob even started speaking english.He is just a prick, and while accurate in his videos, people like him are not what Warhammer needs, any fandom really 2/2
