All me. My pleasure. Just so you know, I'm going to be writing about your attempts to deflect from legitimate scrutiny of you, your boss and your party again very soon...
Richard Tice MP 🇬🇧@TiceRichard

Dan, Thanks for confirming that you have no decency, nor integrity. Instead, just obsessed against Reform. Now we all know for certain. Only question is whether it is your personal decision, or the instructions of your employer to behave in this way.

BREAKING: Donald Trump is reportedly furious the Reflecting Pool contractors drained it during the day so everyone can see the tire tracks from when his motorcade drove over it before the sealant was totally cured, and now everyone knows he's been lying for weeks about vandals.

Was it an ‘honest error’ to give contracts worth hundreds of millions to Doug Barrowman: • without competitive tender • with a huge built in mark up • whose company, formed 2 days before, had no experience in the market • in return for unusable PPE Funnelling taxpayers’ money to your friends, donors & other cronies is called ‘corruption’ everywhere outside Westminster.

. @michaelgove A mistake is forgetting to put the bins out. Referring your 'great personal friend' and donor to a 'VIP lane' so that he is awarded £164 million in public funds, as you did, is not a mistake. We know exactly what that is evidence of.
Michael Gove@michaelgove

Actually it wasn’t. Dame Heather Hallet found *no* evidence of cronyism or corruption on the part of ministers or officials. Mistakes *were* made. Honest mistakes. I take full responsibility for that. But the allegations of corruption are unfounded nonsense

The slight problem with close protection, of course, is that the police then keep a log of everywhere you go, and everyone you meet .. Bit restricting, isn’t it? Unless you’ve nothing to hide.. 👇👇🇬🇧🇬🇧🤬🤬🤬
(((Dan Hodges)))@DPJHodges

Think it's worth repeating. Zia Yusuf claimed no state support was being offered to Reform MPs for protection. In reality, Nigel Farage was offered a car, a trained driver, a bodyguard, and security on a similar level to that offered Kemi Badenoch. That's quite the deception.

If you read the WHOLE of the Open Doors piece, you eventually come to this: "Palestinian Christians report that it is Israel's control of the West Bank and current war on Gaza, which causes most pressure in their lives. This pressure comes: i) from Israel's external control - i.e. of all borders, combined with a permit system for entering Israel and for travelling between Gaza and the West Bank, thus limiting the possibility of visiting holy places in Jerusalem, for example; and ii) from Israel's internal control of approximately 60% of the West Bank (territories belonging to Area C under the Oslo accords) - an area which separates all the regions controlled by the Palestinian Authority. Internal checkpoints within the West Bank are used to control the area and to protect the Israeli settlements within the West Bank. This control creates a sense of insecurity, limits economical development and limits the freedom of movement, thus isolating the Christian communities within the West Bank. Without hope for a political solution, many Christians do not see a future for themselves in the Palestinian Territories and emigrate to other parts of the world. The Israeli control of the West Bank is linked to the view that sees the West Bank as part of the biblical Israel belonging to Jews only. The general feeling among non-Jews (including Palestinian Christians) is that they are being allowed no space to live a dignified life in the West Bank." Palestinian Christians told Open Doors that Israel's occupation is the main driver of Palestinian Christian emigration. But this doesn't suit Open Doors' evangelical Christian ethos. So they buried it, and falsely reported that Islamic persecution is the main driver. Here's the link to the whole piece. opendoors.org/research-repor…

Mr Yusuf, For the avoidance of doubt, I pleaded guilty in 1987 to an offence of gross indecency under laws that discriminated against homosexual men. The age of consent was then 21 for gay men & 16 for heterosexuals. Those discriminatory offences no longer exist. Also, the individual who was 17 was ‘wired for sound’ by Robert Maxwell’s paper. He said on the tape he was over 21. Unfortunately, there was a lacuna in the law in 1987 which provided heterosexuals with a defence. If heterosexuals believed those they had sexual relations with were of consensual age, & the jury believed this, then they could find the accused not guilty. No such defence pertained to homosexuals. If the younger person was under 21, the offence was committed. I did not realise this lacuna in the law existed until my lawyer, Sir David Napley, informed me. I then told him immediately I would plead guilty. Parliament has since recognised that these laws were unjust. Under the so-called “Alan Turing law”, people convicted of consensual homosexual offences under repealed legislation can have those convictions disregarded & pardoned as part of righting historic wrongs. Also, what I did was neither gross nor indecent. It was done in private and between consenting adults. I have never hidden any of this. What you are doing is attempting to weaponise a historic conviction under discriminatory laws to discredit me because you disagree with my views, & blind loyalty. That is your choice. My point remains unchanged: politicians should respect the police’s request not to speculate during a live murder investigation. Personal abuse is no answer to a principled argument. You are free to criticise me, & to answer a principled argument with personal abuse & character assassination - however unbecoming - but personal vilification is no substitute for civil debate. Ann Widdecombe believed in decency, free speech & the rule of law - which is why she stood by me and offered me practical, private & public support throughout my ordeals. I rather think she would have expected better.
Zia Yusuf@ZiaYusufUK

Harvey, You pled guilty to paying a 17 year old boy for sex. When you were 39. This is “disgrace”. Given you claim to have “nothing to apologise for” I feel compelled to inform you:  *this conduct is still illegal today*. You went to your party’s client press to condemn Nigel - who was also grieving for Ann - for asking questions that are now totally vindicated.  All to score a cheap party political point. This is “depraved”.

Update from the reflecting pool! The pool has been drained, and there are no signs of the giant gash that Donald Trump has been lying about. No indications of major vandalism. Just a bad paint job. The only thing that’s been exposed is that Trump has been lying about this.

To repair the damage done by Starmer, Burnham needed to do three things: 1. End the abuse of proscription legislation as an authoritarian crackdown 2. End anti-refugee hostility 3. Recognise Israel’s genocide of Gaza He has failed all three before he’s even in office.
