Our delegation of pastors and leaders from across America continues to play a vital role in our ongoing ministry in Cambodia — especially in serving war refugees displaced by the Thai military incursion. My heart, and the hearts of the Cambodian people, overflow with gratitude for the peace agreement and diplomatic work led by President Trump between Cambodia and Thailand. Through our relief efforts, we were able to deliver over 1 million meals to refugee families, along with tents, tarps, mosquito nets, blankets, clothing, shampoo, toothbrushes, and radios. —Would you join me in prayer for lasting peace in Cambodia? ALLOW ME TO SHARE A TRANSPARENT TAKE. Truly, a dream is coming true tonight at 7 pm with the opening of the new Airport campus auditorium. And, with that I’m so grateful to everyone who has made this possible. I’ll never be able to fully express how I feel towards Pathway Church. 🚩NOW, HERE’S MY TRANSPARENT TAKE: —But, I have to stop and honor Kelly. We were made for each other. She is safe, predictable, a planner, and risk averse. I move quickly, have high pain thresholds, think about the future, am risk tolerant, and am more spontaneous and enterprising. We have always done a lot. Every move is invigorating to me. Every move stretches her. We make a good balance. I’m able to process things through her more cautious nature. And, my initiative expands her horizons. God put us together. I could not have found a more perfect wife…or a wife who better fit me. Whether it’s starting and building BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE., expanding PCL, campuses, a cattle ranch in Cambodia, media, or other ministries and initiatives, Kelly has always been right with me. Prayerful. Godly. Caring. Confidant. Partner. Beautiful. Still. Calm. Tonight, when we worship at the new space at Pathway Church - Airport Campus, I will be worshiping next to an amazing gift to my life, to our children, and to the ministry. Our church is blessed because of the many things no one sees that come from Kelly Johnson. I needed to pause and say that. If Kelly’s demeanor was different, there wouldn’t have been an Airport campus…or any other campus. Her care, support, prayer walk, and her commitment to me while I pastor is such an incredible advantage for me to have in my life and in our ministry. Kel, I love you. Can’t wait for all that lies ahead in the days ahead for our beautiful church family. Thank you. You’re so loved by me…and many others.
