Ways to get citizenship around the world: I've been working on a comprehensive overview of paths to citizenship in all countries globally. So far, I have finished all countries in Europe and the Americas. The idea is to give people a simple way to see how soon and by which qualifying route they can get citizenship in all countries. I have included the residency period for - Ordinary naturalization - Marriage-based naturalization - Preferred National naturalization Also included is whether you can get citizenship by - Investment - Descent - Birthright Finally, I have indicated whether dual citizenship is allowed. Next, I will proceed to complete the table to include every country in the world. I will also add several maps and charts to allow for ease of comparison. But before I do, I'd like to know your suggestions and corrections: Should I include more rare paths to naturalization? Like citizenship by exceptional merit, for example?
