Elle est morte dans le camp d'abattage d'Auschwitz le 18 février 1943, après avoir été tuée par une injection de phénol au cœur. Peu de temps avant son exécution, elle a été photographiée par un prisonnier nommé Wilhelm Brasse, qui a plus tard dénoncé le bourreau qui l'a frappée au visage avant le tir, comme vous pouvez le voir par le bleu sur sa lèvre. Sur la photo on voit le visage d'une jeune fille terrifiée, qui ne parlait même pas la langue et avait perdu sa mère quelques jours auparavant. Elle faisait partie des quelque 250 000 enfants et jeunes assassinés à Auschwitz-Birkenau. This young woman was undoubtedly photographed upon arrival at the camp, not after being punched and just before being killed! You're the idiot!

Stejně jako umučené vězně spalovali v pecích zase vězni. Také ne dobrovolně, ty tupče! V tom množství vězňů byla zastoupena všechna řemesla

À l'approche de la fin de la guerre on l'a forcé à détruire son materiel, ce qu'il na pas fait. En 2004 il a accepté de raconter son histoire, et le contexte de cette photo.
