BYU paid $7 million to AJ Dybantsa.
He led the nation in scoring. Cool.
They finished 10th in the Big 12 and were a 6-seed in the NCAA Tournament after losing a key guard to injury.
They lost to an 11-seed Texas team that finished 10th in the SEC.
Is that NIL $ well spent?

@Aaron_Torres Said all along,they weren’t getting out of first round. They wasted having him there was a pure waste. Keita and Ahmed probably the worst centers I’ve seen in a major conference since seton hall had Jacky Kaba or Rashard Anthony. Even with Saunders they win maybe one game

So everyone focusing on other games, is missing AJ Dybantsa playing one of the best tourney games I've ever seen.
Gets a bucket. Next possession hits an open shooter in the corner, who misses. Dybantsa gets the offensive rebound and gets back to the foul line.

BYU is going to be a team that sneaks up on everyone. They have underperformed a bit this year and that's why. But they have arguably the most talented player in the country, they have a great draw and they almost knocked off Houston in the Big 12 tournament
