To celebrate a week of efficiency and let you run 100'000 Luna threads this weekend... that's right... wait for it... I have reset usage limits for Codex and ChatGPT Work. Enjoy.

GPT-5.6-Sol on Cerebras will be 20x faster, so according to my calculations, I will only be working 30 minutes a day once it comes out

We kept ourselves busy with GPT-5.6 Sol. It's pretty good at things. Rolling out - 80% lower prices on Luna - 20% lower prices on Terra - faster speeds on GPT-5.6 Sol in /fast mode - ~ 10X cheaper auto-approve mode ("review for me" in the app), which now uses Luna to prevent many high risk actions from the main agent Towards intelligence too cheap to meter and many more breakthroughs ahead.

We are committed to pushing the model frontier across cost efficiency, capability, and speed. Starting today, we are reducing prices for GPT-5.6 Luna by 80% and GPT-5.6 Terra by 20% , and offering a faster option for GPT-5.6 Sol in the API. Luna and Terra’s lower prices are reflected in how usage is counted in Codex and ChatGPT Work, so your usage goes further.

The limiting factor of software engineering has never been code production. It is complexity management.

Happy to announce Octane – the successor to Inferno. React’s programming model, compiled. Hooks, Suspense and Actions, compiled ahead of time. No virtual DOM. No Rules of Hooks. No manually maintained dependency arrays. The compiler understands what your code captures and generates the reactivity for you. Octane supports TSX and JSX, along with TSRX for even better DX and performance. It includes integrations for libraries such as TanStack, React Three Fiber, Lynx and StyleX, plus a compatibility layer for using Octane components inside existing React apps. Octane is available in alpha today, with beta coming soon.

Releasing the model weights and technical report of Kimi K3. Kimi K3 is our most capable model: a 2.8T MoE model with native visual understanding and a 1M-token context window. New model architecture: 2.5x the intelligence per unit of compute, not just more params. Alongside Kimi K3, we're opening up more of the stack behind it — high-performance attention kernels, MoE communication library, and infrastructure for running agent environments at scale. Model weights: huggingface.co/moonshotai/Kim… Tech report: github.com/MoonshotAI/Kim… Tech blog: kimi.com/blog/kimi-k3

Correctness of a system is not a state- it’s an ongoing relationship between requirements, the executable system, and the world. As requirements and the world change, the system stays correct only if it changes with them. Correctness isn’t a property you achieve - it’s a relationship you maintain.  This is an important part of what we are trying to solve with @ontoapp

As others keep adding layers of abstraction on top of probabilistic machines hoping it can guess what you mean we are taking a different approach. Onto puts you closer to intent, closer to true grounding in human defined processes, instead of AI as a translation layer, we use it as a discovery layer to refine and extend the words you define. The future of process is multiplayer, auditable, and deterministic
