@ariga_megamix I love your work on Illusion of Gaia! When making the pixels, were you often thinking about the way a CRT TV would stretch the internal 8:7 SNES/SFC aspect ratio to be a little wider, or was it not something you worried too much about?

I worked on Illusion of Gaia in parallel with ActRaiser 2. By that time, I had become quite familiar with Quintet’s editor tools, and I felt I was in a good rhythm while working. After making a few simple sketches to get a sense of the design, I mostly went straight into pixel art. Details like clothing and flowing hair were created directly in pixels.

The PSP version of Breath of Fire III had been available digitally in Japan and Europe since 2009 and was physically released in those regions in 2005/2006. The game missed North America initially, presumably due to SCEA (now SIEA)'s restrictive policies on ports.

It was a little over 10 years ago when Breath of Fire III PSP was finally released digitally in North America on the PlayStation Vita store. You can still buy it on your PS Vita. But the question remains: When will @CapcomUSA_ @capcom_official bring it to modern platforms?
