📱 How well are teenagers today prepared for study, work, and life in a digital world? 👉 #ICILS is the only international large-scale assessment that focuses solely on digital literacy education and provides measures to monitor changes in students’ digital literacy achievement over time. 📅 Join us on Tuesday, 12 November to hear more on the results from the #ICILS2023 study cycle. Dear Quant community, sharing some good news from Psychometrika: "Dear Members of the Psychometric Society, We are pleased to announce that starting 2 September, Psychometrika will be accepting submissions of papers through its new website:mc.manuscriptcentral.com/psychometrika. From now on, Psychometrika will be an Open Access journal, published by a not-for-profit organisation, Cambridge University Press. We are proud that the Psychometric Society has taken this important step, which will make the articles published in our journal accessible to everyone and support the outreach of psychometric research. Authors will benefit from Cambridge’s open access agreements, with over 2,000 institutions worldwide, in order to publish in Psychometrika free of charge. For those who are not affiliated with these institutions, a member Article Processing Charge (APC) rate will be offered of 25% off the list price, while a robust set of waiver and discount programs, including the Cambridge Open Equity Initiative, will ensure that no one in any location or at any career stage is prevented from publishing in the journal due to lack of funding or library coverage going forward. Any corresponding author of a research article who does not have coverage through an open access agreement, an equity initiative, or outside funding to pay an APC, can request and receive a discount or full waiver of an APC after editorial acceptance of their article. Psychometrika’s archives remain freely available for members to read in full by logging into the Members Resources page at psychometricsociety.org. From January, these archives will be hosted by Cambridge rather than Springer. On behalf of the Psychometric Society, I would like to thank everyone who has worked hard to make this possible, especially our Past President, David Kaplan, Psychometrika Editors, Sandip Sinharay and Nidhi Kohli, Steffi Pohl, the Editorial Council, Paula Gantz, and our new partners at Cambridge University Press. Sincerely, Denny Borsboom President, Psychometric Society"
