The second paragraph for me! If he has read this and understood your context, he won't do the one-liner again! For how shall we make sense of this communication in 2040!
Jim Spire Ssentongo@SpireJim

I generally find no problem with @kasujja’s one line press releases, for as long as they serve the purpose without losing anything more important. If anything, they’ve attracted more attention to the messages being relayed. Coming from a background of philosophy, I find a problem with any argument that starts with: ‘that’s not how it should be’. If it ends there, without providing convincing reasons why it ‘should be’ like that, it is mere (uncritical) conformism with conventions. The only bit of a problem I find with the one liners (as a researcher) is the potential difficulty to understand their context in future. A researcher looking at some of them in 2040 may not easily understand the context and rationale in and around them.

@idringp There is nothing evolutionary about that kind of communication! It's simply lazy and unprofessional!

Evolve with the times sir, the attention span today isn’t as it used to be, can you imagine from your full interview with Pepe, the only take home today’s is “Why are you gay” …

@kasujja’s one liners are an insult to professional communication. A press release has a standard template.

How do you claim competence when you can't speak the language used for studying in a country? Do they study from Mama Finas school where they learn in the local language?
SSEKABIRA PATRICK@PSSEKABIR

Uganda is such a funny country. PFF’s @DoreenNyanjura laughed at some NUP members appointed by the Lord Mayor, claiming they don’t know English. But honestly, since when did speaking a foreign language become the measure of competence and leadership? Do you think serving Ugandans only requires polished English? Leadership is about service, results, understanding people’s problems, and representing citizens effectively — not accents or grammar competitions. You people had your time. Stop this kind of nonsense and give others the chance to serve the people they were entrusted to lead. Respect people please 🙏

I thought winning the league and champions league means doing enough which is exactly what he has done under the circumstances!
Mr.M@themrlado

@UnitedStandMUFC Obviously he has done enough, the question is will he do enough. Can you win the league and Champions League with Carrick?

A woman was shot by a police officer while driving on a public road near Speaker Anita Among’s home. The police officer didn’t even attempt to save her life as she struggled to get herself to hospital on her own while losing a lot of blood. Speaker’s people say she was in Bukedea so the woman didn’t even pose any security threat to the speaker (not that if she was home Ugandans should be denied to use the road). Speaker’s people also say she’s in touch with the family but the police is apparently still “hunting” for the woman. Why do we have leaders who think they are gods? And it is not just the Speaker. Julius who was killed on Christmas Eve of 2024 was shot because of some other “big person”. If you guys want to drive on public roads alone perhaps you could allocate money to construct roads only for yourselves because as it is now, the roads are few and narrow and congested but you still come like you’re rushing to do anything ground breaking and violently force people into trenches and now even shoot them!!
