I won't pretend to know how the Elon Musk acquisition of Twitter will turn out but it's pretty striking that every comment I've seen from anyone whose opinion I respect has been expressing nothing but devastation, pessimism, and rage.

My ’96 paper "Reuse contracts: Managing the evolution of reusable assets" introduces reuse contracts between providers and users of reusable classes. Comparing, in terms of reuse operators, how provided classes evolve with how they are reused, offers insights in reuse conflicts.
