Gotta be honest, this @ufc event at the White House looks spectacular. This is a big time show. I’m not there, and we all know all the complaints folks had about renovations at and around the White House, etc, but — to be fair — this is some impressive stuff I’m looking at. Props to UFC President @danawhite and the show they’ve put on. It’s Bigtime. Plain and simple!!!

Yes, but a major unforced error to not have it available for free to everyone. The audience size could have been much larger. The idea of a 250 event requiring a subscription is repulsive. The Trump team really blew it in terms of expanding the tent. My guess is that those who were willing to pay to view it were a subset of those already likely to support Trump candidates.

One thing I’ll say about the UFC event at the White House is that if Trump and the Justice Department are going to criticize the NFL for placing some of its games behind a paywall, the UFC should have been forced to put this on broadcast TV so that everyone can watch it for free.
