Badges for our BPOC B1-2020 have been assigned! Soon, the cadets will become #Deputies and join our fellow teammates patrolling the districts. Exciting times! #HCSOProtects

16 Lateral Deputies with prior #lawenforcement experience started our @HCSOTexas Academy on Monday. Day 2, they are being equipped with Body Worn Cameras & will practice using them daily over the next several weeks before heading to #FieldTraining #WeAreHiring

We welcome our new lateral class to the @HCSOTexas family. “Our community needs you,” says Chief Navarre. Our lateral class will go through 2 months of training w/ @HCSO_PatrolFTO before going out to serve our community. #HCSOProtecting #HCSOCares

“Mental Health Training is an important part of policing.” This week our graduating deputies are in their last week of patrol training. They are taking the 40 Hour #mentalhealth CIT class. Thank you Dr. O’Neill & Pastor Thurman for presenting on these important topics. #HCSOCares

Our Crisis Intervention Response Team continues to serve our #HarrisCounty residents during these stressful times. In an attempt to engage in #SocialDistanacing & still respond to #mentalhealth calls, our CIRT Teams are utilizing CORE technology. #HCSOCares #COVID19
