Outraged 😡 Did my usual rounds at St. God’s Memorial Hospital today and not a single staff member was carrying their COVID vaccine card! I’ve never stopped updating mine… still proudly displaying every booster sticker. This is completely unacceptable during the Double Pandemic of Hantavirus AND COVID! Starting this week I’m printing Hantavirus vaccine cards and will be issuing them to ALL staff whether they like it or not.

A little late for Cinco de Mayo, but having some Mediterranean style tacos tonight. I love Mexican food but this makes them much healthier. Low fat, and plant based with whole grain pasta! #HeartHealthy Important to stay healthy with this Double Pandemic of Hantavirus and COVID going on.

My question is - is there a possibility that, in some sort of modified dynamics that are still consistent with observed data, where unitarity preservation does not happen outside of local patches? The conventional answer is - no. But how do we know that? Quantum fluctuations during inflation are often the benchmark for large scale entanglement across spacetime, and unitarity is obviously preserved in that epoch, but how would we really know for sure that persists today?

Similar to how we think of energy conservation as local (cov. conservation of stress-energy), it is possible that unitarity is also localized, and thus there is no coherent "wave function of the universe"? (Motivation: like time-translation symmetry, doesn't unitarity need some sort of Hermitian Hamiltonian generating evolution along a time parameter? Wheeler-Dewitt famously has no time parameter.) @CburgesCliff @WKCosmo

@CburgesCliff @DeivonDrago Are we really doing this, Clint? A reduced density matrix is where unitarity has already been hidden in the trace over the complement, so asking for its purity to obey a local conservation law confuses entanglement bookkeeping with dynamics.

This is outrageous.. Not a single person on my flight is masked up while this one woman is claiming we’re in the middle of a double pandemic (Covid + Hantavirus). I politely informed the flight attendant that this is a super spreader of delusion. She just shrugged and walked away. I’ve already filed a formal complaint with the FAA and CDC. This is ridiculous and cannot stand. Masks don’t save lives, the science was never settled on that.
