It was great to join families, students, researchers, and community partners as they came together to celebrate science and innovation. Science Rendezvous is a great initiative put on by York University that helps inspire the next generation of problem-solvers, creators, and leaders.

On June 8, high school students will finally move into the new K–12 Parry Sound school. When the project fell behind, our government stepped in, supervised the board, and got the project back on track.

People deserve to feel safe when they take transit to work, school or home. That is why our government is proposing new measures that would give special constables the authority to stop people from using illegal drugs on transit and in transit areas, along with the ability to issue tickets or make arrests if they refuse to comply.

It was great to host Minister @PaulCalandra at Norwell District Secondary School in Palmerston recently. It had been a few years since I last walked those halls as a student, but it was great to be back and showcase all the great things happening in one of our rural high schools.

Directors are hired by elected trustees. CEOs would be hired by elected trustees. This is about better governance. Glad we cleared that up.
