It was a pleasure to join @StanChoMPP for the opening of the Ontario Science Centre’s new interim home at Harbourfront Centre. This exciting new space gives students even more opportunities to explore the world of STEM through hands-on learning. From the immersive Space Deck planetarium to the outdoor experiences at Curiosity Commons, the next generation of innovators will have inspiring new ways to discover, create, and learn.

For too long, Canada has relied on foreign markets and infrastructure to move our own energy.   Today, Ontario and Alberta have unveiled the proposed Northern Shield Energy Corridor that will move Alberta oil and gas to Ontario.   Built using Canadian steel and by Canadian workers, this nation-building project will create thousands of jobs, strengthen our economy and help build Canada into an energy superpower.

Royal Canadian Legion branches play an essential role in supporting veterans and commemorating the men and women who fought for our freedom.   Our government is proud to support their important work by providing full liquor sales licence fee rebates to eligible Legion branches.

I was happy to join my colleague Stan Cho to officially open the new temporary home of the Ontario Science Centre. This new space will give students and families more opportunities to explore, discover and engage in hands-on science learning that brings classroom learning to life.

There’s nothing like the smell of fresh pancakes in the morning and the buzz of the Strawberry Festival to start the day. Excited to join everyone as we kicked off the morning with fresh pancakes in support of the local food bank. A delicious tradition that gives back to the community. The festival takes place all weekend, be sure to come for a taste!

I was pleased to join my colleagues @Billy__Pang and @LoganKanapathi to announce that our government is investing more than $8.4 million to expand access to primary care in Markham and Stouffville. This investment will help reduce wait times, improve access to care, and ensure more families can get the quality health care they need, closer to home.

The Ring of Fire is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create 70,000 good-paying jobs and add $22 billion to our economy. We’re protecting Ontario by building the roads to the Ring of Fire five years ahead of schedule, in partnership with First Nations.

Our government is raising speed limits to help get drivers where they need to go faster and safely.   Starting June 26, 2026, the speed limit will increase from 100km/hour to 110km/hour on sections of Highways 401 and 416 in eastern Ontario, followed by sections on the QEW and Highways 400, 401, 402, 403, 416 and 417.

It was a pleasure to meet today with HRH Prince Louis of Luxembourg, Prince of Nassau, Prince of Bourbon-Parma for a meaningful discussion about supporting students with learning differences. By sharing ideas and perspectives, we continue to strengthen all aspects of education, from early intervention to inclusive learning practices, so that every student has the support they need to reach their full potential.

Building on our work to provide students with a consistent, high-quality education, Ontario is investing $60 million in a new provincewide digital learning platform that will give teachers access to real-time information about student progress, helping them identify challenges earlier and respond more quickly to student needs. This platform, which is already being used by many school boards including the TSCDB, will now be used across the province.

Thank you to the staff, school representatives and Minister LeBel for the tour of École secondaire Phare in Quebec. It was great to discuss shared priorities, including creating more focused learning environments through limits on cell phone use and building and maintaining the schools students need to succeed.

Thank you to Minister LeBel and École Primaire l’Ancrage for the time and tour this week while I’ve been in town for the Council of Ministers of Education Conference (CMEC). It was great to see your learning spaces and discuss shared priorities to improve education for students.

At the Council of Ministers of Education conference in Quebec, Minister @nolanmquinn and I met with education leaders from across the country to discuss how we can better support student achievement, strengthen focused learning environments, prepare students for good-paying careers, and ensure they have the skills they need to succeed.

Partnerships between schools and police help foster positive relationships, ultimately making our schools safer. Last week, I saw that work first-hand while visiting St. Benedict Catholic School and Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School alongside officers from the Greater Sudbury Police Service. @SudburyPolice
