In 1996, my dad got into a land dispute and was subsequently sued. I was 6 years old at the time. I went through 18 years of education, became an Advocate and took charge of the case. Today, Judgment In the final appeal was delivered in his favor. 😊

I’ve asked the @TisiniTech people how they came up with this #EnterpriseCup2026 win predictor for both Kenyan & Ugandan teams in the cross-country quarterfinals. “Simple mathematics” is what I’ve been told. Let me explain 🧵

There is something quietly genius about Total petrol stations. They add the area name to the brand signage. On routes I have never used, I don’t look for a petrol station, I look out for a Total. Underrated branding move. 🙌

1/4 I’ve been reflecting on how we can better support athletes beyond performance, in this case, those with talent and interest in the creative space. So, here’s a call to rugby players (female and male) across all clubs. If you’re a rugby player involved in or passionate about:

For the past 2 weeks I've been feeling shortness of breath. When I visited the doctor he asked "Have you been chilling in high altitude areas? You have altitude sickness." Me: But I've not been out of Kampala this month. Doc: But aren't you on top of the table with @ImpisRFC?

Okay Let’s break down each layer *Layer 7 (Application layer ): This is what the user interacts with. Browsers, email apps, APIs. example: You opening a website with Chrome *Layer 6 (Presentation layer): this layer formats, encrypt and compress data … as the name suggests, it allows you to view data in readable formats *Layer 5 (Session layer): This layer starts, maintains, and ends connections. Eg: Logging into a site and staying logged in until you log out or time out *Layer 4 (Transport layer): this one has to do with how data is transported (UDP & TCP) one is unreliable and speed focus … the other is focused on reliability than speed *Layer 3 (Network layer): this layer handles IP addressing and routing Example: “How do I get this packet from Nigeria to a server in the US?” Routers live here. Layer 2 (Data link layer ) : This is device to device communication on the same network. This involves: MAC addresses, switches, ARP. Layer 1 (Physical layer): This is the actual hardware involved (Cables, Wi-Fi signals, fiber optics, voltages etc) Each of these layers have attacks that can be crafted against them If you understand the OSI Model, you understand how attacks work and how to protect against them

In 1705, an Irish woman named Margorie McCat was thought to have died of a fever and was hastily buried to prevent contagion. She was interred wearing a valuable ring that her husband John, a physician, could not remove because her swollen finger made it impossible, drawing the attention of grave robbers. That very night, before the earth had fully settled, body snatchers began digging up the grave. Unable to slip the ring free, they attempted to cut off her finger. When blood flowed, Margorie suddenly revived from a coma, sat upright, and screamed. Accounts differ on the robbers’ fate, though one claims they fled in terror and abandoned their trade. Margorie climbed out of the grave and walked home. Hearing a knock, John reportedly joked that if his wife were alive, he would swear it was her. Opening the door to find Margorie in burial clothes, bleeding but alive, he collapsed from shock and died. He was later buried in the grave prepared for her. Margorie went on to remarry and have several children. When she eventually died years later, she was buried at Shankill Cemetery in Lurgan, Ireland. Her headstone bears the inscription: “Lived Once, Buried Twice.”

What a fitting way to bow out! Micheal Wokorach’s final game was everything we hoped for passion, pride, and a packed crowd giving a true legend the send-off he deserves. The match itself delivered, ending 22-16 a scoreline that perfectly summed up the fight and spirit he brought to the game over the years. Huge credit to the organising committee for a top-class job. From the smooth matchday setup to the unforgettable fireworks that lit up the night, everything was done with class. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the afterparty raised the bar even higher a proper celebration of rugby, legacy, and brotherhood. Thank you, Micheal, for the memories. Thank you to the organisers for setting standards. This wasn’t just a final game; it was a statement. APWOYO MATEK🤝
